It is usually presented as rectal bleeding, constipation, copious mucous discharge, prolonged excessive straining, tenesmus, lower abdominal pain, localized pain in the perineal area, feeling of incomplete defecation and rarely rectal prolapse.The underlying etiology is not well known.
