In this paper, a novel method of scalable coding of encrypted images using Enhanced Block Truncation Code (EBTC) has been proposed. The raw image is compressed using EBTC and then encrypted using the pseudo-random number (PSRN) at the transmitter and the Key is disseminated to the receiver. The transmitted image is decrypted at the receiver by using the PSRN key. Finally, the output image is constructed using EBTC, scaled by scaling factor 2 and Bilinear Interpolation Technique.
