Empleo de los trabajadores mexicanos: el caso de las empresas japonesas ubicadas en el estado de Jalisco

When a multinational company enters a foreign country, a cultural clash can occur when hires the local labor force . In order to boost business activities by overcoming this problem, a cultural intelligence is required . The Economic Partnership Agreement between Mexico and Japan, which entered into force in 2005, has significantly promoted Japanese investment in Mexico, particularly in the automotive sector . Recently, there has been an important occupation of the Mexican labor force in the manufacturing sector, and also with the higher schooling . The present work is a case study that analyzes, from the point of view of the entrepreneurs, the current situation of Mexican workers in the Japanese companies located in the State of Jalisco and their relation with the universities suppliers of young talents, and also the culture shock and acculturation that take place .
