A peralkaline granite of the Ilímaussaq Complex, South Greenland, contains the rare mineral henrymeye rite [(Ba 0.92 Na 0.05 Ca 0.03 ) 1.0 (Ti 6.87 Fe 2+1.04 Nb 0.03 ) 7.9 O 16 ], a low-Fe Ba titanate [(Ba 0.74 Ca 0.02 Na 0.05 ) 0.8 (Ti 4.9o Fe 2+0.15 Nb 0.04 ) 5.1 O 11 ], and an unidentified Ba titanosilicate. Both titanates show the coupled substitution 2Na + + Si 4+ → Ba 2+ + Ti 4+ .
