The study area consists mainly of Late Triassic igneous intrusion and sedimentary rocks of Carboniferous Kubang Pasu Formation. The conducted field mapping has successfully discovered a band of brecciated phyllites along parts of granite – phyllite contact zone and a limestone hill with caves in the study area.
