He was successfully treated by emergency haploidentical haematopoietic stem cell transplantation, combined with triple antifungal therapy and supportive care.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong><i>Cyberlindnera jadinii</i>, teleomorph of <i>Candida utilis</i>, which is not usually invasive, can lead to an opportunistic invasive infection in unhealthy adult patients.
