The disease onset showed no significant seasonal variation. The reported cases were more at the age of 40~49 years(70/163, 42.9%), and were imported mainly from Africa(156/163, 95.7%). The median interval from symptom onset to diagnosis was 4 days, and only 15 patients(9.2%) received definite diagnosis within 24 h.
