It contains findings by selected demographic and socioeconomic variables. The National Center for Health Statistics, of which the Health Examination Survey is a major program, was authorized under the National Health Survey Act of 1956 by the 84th Congress as a continuing Public Health Service function to determine the health status of the population. </p>","PeriodicalId":76808,"journal":{"name":"Vital and health statistics.
