Complementation of the growth defect of an rnpA49 mutant of Escherichia coli by overexpression of arginine tRNA(CCG).

We previously found that overexpression of arginine tRNA(CCG) from Brevibacterium albidum complements the rnpA49 mutation, which is responsible for the thermosensitivity of Escherichia coli RNase P function. In this present work, we show that the E. coli homologue tRNA also complements the same mutation, but other tRNAs do not.
