A questionnaire and one reminder were mailed to the managing directors of 30 companies in Britain, France and Germany. Twenty-nine (out of ninety) responses were received. The results indicate that overwhelmingly these companies claim to have a neutral attitude towards CM. The level of interest in CM is minimal and so is the willingness to sponsor research in this area.
