The reactions were compared with the results from a control group in which the cavities were treated with zinc oxide/eugenol cement. The results indicated that Scotchbond Dual Cure dentine bonding agent caused less pulp reaction than Gluma and Tenure dentine bonding agents. However, long-term (90 days) specimens showed that none of these three bonding agents caused any severe reaction.
