This investigation was to determine the shear bond strength, evaluate the microleakage and conduct SEM examinations of this new bond system. The results showed it was possible to obtain a mean shear bond strength of 17.45 MPa to human dentine. Microleakage was minimal at the cementum/dentine margin and no microleakage was observed at the enamel margin of resin restorations placed with the system.
