The evidence that LHRH influences the release and stores of both FSH and LH is considerable, and equally well documented is the fact that testosterone and oestradiol will suppress the secretion not only of LH but also of FSH. Recently evidence points to the existence of inhibin which will suppress FSH secretion but which in higher doses will also decrease LH levels.
