Fifteen South African chiropractors with a minimum of 3 years' experience, who treat runners and recommend nutritional supplements, were interviewed. Data collection took place over about 5 weeks, between July and September 2023. Data were analyzed using Tesch's method for themes and sub-themes.</div></div><div><h3>Results</h3><div>Four main themes emerged, revealing chiropractors' active use of supplements for runners, diverse supplement recommendations, improved treatment outcomes, enhanced recovery and performance, and reduced injury rates.
