Chow (Academia Sinica, Taiwan) and Teruo Shinmyozu (Kyushu University, Japan). To commemorate its 20th anniversary, 16 past symposium lecturers were invited to share advances in organic materials, covering synthesis, spectroscopy, optical and photophysical studies, supramolecular interactions, and photoelectronic devices.
