When polymers are heated, various gaseous compounds such as styrene, butadiene, and others are released, which have a strong characteristic odor and may adversely affect users’ health. This article examines an extraction-pyrolytic method for depositing photocatalytic titanium oxide onto a metal mesh. The results of studies on the crystalline structure and microstructure of the obtained oxide films are presented.
