Effect of Landau Damping on Beam-Plasma Instability in a Coaxial Waveguide
We report the results of calculations of the electrodynamic characteristics of a beam-plasma waveguide for the case of a finite plasma temperature. An increase in the plasma temperature is shown to lead to a significant decrease in the beam-plasma instability increment.
