A number of novel diaza- and triazaadamantane derivatives were synthesized by the reactions of 5,7-disubstituted 2-(4-aminophenyl)-1,3-diazaadamantanes, 1,3,5-triazaadamantane-7-amine, and (aminophenyl)(1,3,5-triazaadamantan-7-yl))methanones with anhydrides of substituted succinic and glutaric acids. Some of the synthesized compounds showed a moderate antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
