We use the deformed Heisenberg uncertainty principle in Schrödinger equation and determine a novel expression of half-life using the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) method. The effect of minimal length on alpha decay half-lives is studied using tables and figures. The results show the appearance of a correction factor on the probability of tunneling through the coulomb barrier. We compare our results with and without the minimum length again experimental data taken from the literature.
