The authors discuss a methodical system of preoperative templating and intraoperative fluoroscopic evaluation to ensure adequacy of resection and correction of impingement. There have been multiple methods developed to help aid surgeons in intraoperative decision making during cam correction. Using the available techniques may help limit complications and revision arthroscopic procedures, and understanding the nuances and limitations of each method will be paramount for the success of hip arthroscopists when addressing cam morphology.
