Samples are cast from classically cross-linkable polyethylene granules with and without carbon black. Curing at different temperatures were carried out and the obtained samples were characterized by several techniques. The experimental measurements showed that the samples within 0.8 wt% carbon black additive contain less space charge accumulation and allow to obtain better crosslinking degree at curing temperature of 160°C.
