They were developed in a systematic and transparent manner with the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) approach. In the four clinical questions with meta-analyses, debridement, topical medication, dressings, and negative-pressure wound therapy were weakly recommended in the treatment of pressure ulcers. Wound, Pressure Ulcer, and Burn Guidelines (2023)–2: Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers, Third Edition
Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of pressure ulcers, third edition, is a fully revised guidelines drafted by the Japanese Dermatological Association Wound/Pressure Ulcer/Burn Guidelines Drafting Committee. They were developed in a systematic and transparent manner with the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) approach.
