While transosseous repair of the deep TFCC fibers is a widely accepted technique for restoring distal radioulnar joint instability, persistent instability remains a clinical challenge in a subset of patients. Combining transosseous repair with volar and dorsal capsular repair is an important technique to consider when treating Atzei Class 2 TFCC tears.
