Data were collected using a descriptive information form, the Person-Organization Fit Scale, the Global Job Embeddedness Scale, and the Happiness at Work Scale. Statistical analyses were undertaken using IBM SPSS Statistics version 26 and the PROCESS Makro v4.2 plug-in.</p>\n </section>\n \n <section>\n \n <h3> Results</h3>\n \n <p>The findings revealed that person-organization fit significantly and positively affected workplace happiness and workplace happiness significantly and positively affected job embeddedness. Furthermore, the indirect effect of person-organization fit on job embeddedness was significant; therefore, workplace happiness mediated the relationship between person-organization fit and job embeddedness.</p>\n </section>\n \n <section>\n \n <h3> Conclusions</h3>\n \n <p>This study's results reveal that ensuring nurses' person-organization fit and increasing their workplace happiness levels contribute significantly to increasing their level of job embeddedness. Healthcare organizations and nurse managers play a crucial role in improving job embeddedness. The Relationship Between Person-Organization Fit and Job Embeddedness in Nursing: The Mediating Role of Workplace Happiness

Objective
This study aimed to ascertain the mediating role of workplace happiness in the relationship between person-organization fit and job embeddedness in nursing.
Methods
