Influence of Temperature on Magnetoelectric Effect in a Structure Containing Langatate
The effect of temperature on the characteristics of the linear magnetoelectric effect was studied in a three-layered composite structure comprising a single crystal of langatate with thin films of an amorphous ferromagnetic alloy deposited on both sides. The measurements were conducted in the temperature range of 220–340 K. It was determined that the magnetoelectric coefficient and the sensitivity to a magnetic field decrease linearly with increasing temperature.
