The Design of Tunable Acoustic Metamaterials Using Scattering Theory Methods
A two-step method for designing acoustic metamaterials and calculating wave fields inside them is proposed. The scattering coefficients are calculated in the first step, and the specific design of metamaterial elements is determined in the second. The results of modeling a cloaking insulating shell and a lens with a tunable focus are presented.
