Stability of the Holographic Method of Mode Selection in Shallow-Water Area under Conditions of Bathymetry Irregularity
Criteria of the applicability of the holographic method of selecting sound field modes in a shallow water area using a single receiver, based on the application of two-dimensional Fourier transform to the real component of the field formed by a moving source, are proposed. The results of a numerical experiment on selection and reconstruction of mode parameters under conditions of irregular bathymetry, which is responsible for the horizontal wave refraction, are presented. The variations of reconstructed mode parameters with respect to the unperturbed waveguide are estimated.
