A purposive sampling approach was used, and data analysis followed Braun and Clarke's thematic analysis method.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Four key themes emerged: the need for information to engage in treatment; the impact of physical and mental health on fracture patients; the role of physiotherapy in recovery; and the relationship with the healthcare team and treatment perception.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Although patients felt supported by the healthcare team, they expressed a need for a deeper understanding of the recovery process.
