Micromagnetic Modeling of Skyrmions in Ferro- and Ferrimagnetic Structures
Micromagnetic modeling of the mechanisms and conditions of existence of skyrmions in ferro- and ferrimagnetic systems was performed. The features of current-induced skyrmion motion were studied as functions of the strength of the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction, saturation magnetization, magnetic anisotropy, and the Gilbert damping. Ferrimagnetic systems were shown to be promising for investigation of skyrmions.
