The setup is used to record the fluorescence excitation spectra of substituted aldehyde molecules cooled in the supersonic jet. It is concluded that the spectra obtained using the setup have a better signal-to-noise ratio than those known from the literature. Modifying a Setup for Investigating the Fluorescence and Phosphorescence Excitation Spectra of Polyaromatic Hydrocarbon Molecules Cooled in a Jet of Inert Gas
