Recently, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) have become a key area of investigation due to their high specificity and potent antitumor effects. These therapies combine monoclonal antibodies, designed to bind to tumor-specific antigens, with cytotoxic agents that selectively target and destroy malignant cells. ADCs have generated significant interest in clinical trials as a promising approach to improve both treatment efficacy and patient outcomes in gastric cancer. However, their clinical application is not without challenges and limitations that must be addressed.
