The classification of components of periodic flows of heterogeneous liquids and gases is carried out with control over the fulfillment of the compatibility condition when solving the system of fundamental equations. In a single formulation, gravitational surface and internal (as well as capillary and acoustic) waves and accompanying families of ligaments are considered.
