Dietary strategies (e.g., fermented wheat supplements) hold promise for mitigating PBH-related complications. Emerging data further highlight the significance of preoperative hypoglycemia symptoms and dumping syndrome as early predictors of PBH risk, emphasizing the need for improved risk stratification.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Comprehensive preoperative screening, investigation of autonomic dysfunction in glucose metabolism, and individualized dietary or pharmacological interventions may optimize PBH management.
