It highlights the transformative potential of these technologies in reshaping industries and enhancing efficiency while also underscoring the challenges they present, particularly in data protection and privacy. To put these challenges in context, a security model consisting of three dimensions (security goal, security control, and data state) is developed and applied to six sectors. The resultant models represent a major step toward more effective risk assessment in practice.
