UMG, the world's largest record label, has expanded its four-year-old partnership with nonprofit MHA to establish the fund, which is available to all current and former music industry professionals. Clients from across the music world will have access to MHA's team of advocates and initial inquiries and are promised a response within 24 hours. The fund will provide a range of mental health services including personalized recommendations for mental health counselors and psychiatrists, grants to help offset costs and recommendations to ensure continuity of care through additional financial and mental health support.
