It shows a <em>Z</em> configuration about the imine C=N bond, which is associated with an intra­molecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bond that closes an <em>S</em>(6) ring. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairwise N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds generate <em>R</em><sup>2</sup><sub>2</sub>(8) loops.
