Lectotypes of Diochus major Kraatz, 1859 (synonym of D. conicollis (Motschulsky, 1858)), D. indicus Kraatz, 1859 (synonym of D. antennatus (Motschulsky) and Rhegmatocerus punctipennis Motschulsky, 1858 (valid name Diochus punctipennis (Motschulsky, 1858)) were designated.
