This study investigated the effect of the adiponectin receptor 1 gene (<i>ADIPOR1</i>) polymorphism on susceptibility to NAFLD.<b>Methods:</b> Data from 330 participants, including 165 biopsy-proven NAFLD patients and 165 healthy controls, were collected.
