Scattering has a threshold character in terms of the concentration of nanoparticles and the energy of the initiating laser. Nonlinear Scattering of Light in Suspensions of Porous Silicon Nanoparticles
In a series of measurements, a comparison is made of nonlinear scattering in suspensions of porous silicon nanoparticles in ethanol and bidistilled water. Scattering has a threshold character in terms of the concentration of nanoparticles and the energy of the initiating laser.
