The use of the MATLAB/Simulink environment for simulating the flight of a rocket and calculating its aerodynamic characteristics is described in detail. The principles of forming blocks for calculating the parameters of a standard atmosphere, aerodynamic characteristics, power plant thrust, flight angles, altitude and flight range are described.
