The materials of two empirical studies obtained on a sample of primary school students from two Moscow educational complexes are presented. The study #1 is longitudinal. It describes the dynamics of the formation of mental functions in left-handed children. The study #2 describes the specifics of spatial perception in left-handed children. The results of the study confirm the presence of the specifics of the development of mental functions in children with a leading left hand.
