Indications of this dysfunction encompass nasal liquid regurgitation, excessive nasal speech, nasal escape, speech articulation issues, and compromised speech comprehensibility. Managing velopharyngeal insufficiency through prosthetic intervention necessitates a closely coordinated effort between an otolaryngologist and a speech pathologist.
