The infrared spectrum analysis results showed that, gallium ions in solution interacted with the C=NOH in the resin, and vanadium ions interacted with the C=NOH and C–NH<sub>2</sub>. The synergistic extraction of vanadium and gallium does not reduce the adsorption capacity of the resin for gallium, but also effectively recovers vanadium.
