Reporting of adverse events including cognitive adverse effects was infrequent.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>Collation of case reports and series data indicated that C/M-ECT, when combined with antipsychotics, appears to be a safe and effective strategy for maintaining remission, even over several years.
