This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the role of demotion in improving performance professionalism for educators and education personnel. The research method used is a qualitative method, by conducting an interview with one of the teachers at SMA Negeri 20 Surabaya. Based on the results of the interview, it was found that there is no demotion in public schools, as well as SMA Negeri 20 Surabaya, but private schools have the possibility of demotion by reducing one's position from GTY (Permanent Foundation Teacher / Permanent Foundation Employee) to GTT (Non-Permanent Teacher / Non-Permanent Employee). MGMP and certification are things that can be done to avoid demotion. 摘要

降职是指员工在履行指定职责时不符合要求,并严重违反职业道德规范,从而导致其职位下降。本研究旨在了解降职在提高教育工作者和教育工作者的绩效专业性方面的作用。采用的研究方法是定性方法,即对泗水 SMA Negeri 20 的一名教师进行访谈。根据访谈结果发现,公立学校和泗水 SMA Negeri 20 没有降职,但私立学校有可能降职,即从 GTY(永久基础教师/永久基础雇员)降至 GTT(非永久教师/非永久雇员)。可以通过 MGMP 和认证来避免降级。本文的结论是,降级在公立学校并不存在,但在私立学校可能存在,为避免降级,员工、教师和学校之间需要合作,以提高绩效质量。
