Phytochemicals and several secondary metabolites were quantified and also qualitatively analyzed in C. sinensis extracts such as phenolic compounds, flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, steroids, glycosides, and saponins. Similarly, biochemical primary metabolites like protein, total sugar, and reducing sugar were also estimated in different parts of C. sinensis and these results correlated with antimicrobial activity. 摘要
