Hotels should ensure that they follow internal mobility best practices to reduce the possibility of negative situations that may affect employee satisfaction. By identifying unfair practices within their own internal mobility policies, a hotel can improve employee satisfaction and morale. This case study examines how one hotel’s unfair internal mobility practices affected the day-to-day operations of its front office department. It follows Kemal and Cahn, who were both considered for promotion at the Sunny Alanya Hotel.
