The Person-Environment-Occupation-Performance Model was used in interpreting the stigmatizing experiences.Findings:The themes Perceived Misconceptions and Stigmatizing Actions describe key social-environmental factors. The theme Overcoming Stigmatizing Experiences elucidates key skills and processes for developing stigma resilience.
