The research method used is qualitative, through in-depth interviews with health workers and prisoners, as well as the use of questionnaires to collect primary data and documentation studies for secondary data. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction, organization, and interpretation. The results show that health services in prisons face challenges in terms of infrastructure, human resources and financing. Service dimensions such as tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy were evaluated. Lack of medical facilities, shortage of health staff, and non-compliance with scientific criteria are the main barriers. Efforts to improve service quality included additional facilities and medical personnel, cooperation with external parties, and improvement of service processes.
