Two species of Amanita (Basidiomycota) new to Russia from the South Siberia
The paper provides data on records of two new to Russia agaricoid species: Amanita betulae from the Krasnoyarsk Territory (Eastern Sayan) and A. coryli from the Republic of Altai. Species identity was confirmed by molecular phylogeny based on nrITS sequences. Detailed morphological descriptions, data on ecology and distribution of these species are provided. The morphological features matched the descriptions of type specimens, while the ecology of the specimens of Amanita coryli and A. betulae from South Siberia differed from the European collections.
期刊介绍:
The Journal is one of the scientific periodicals of the Komarov Botanical Institute (at present belonging to the Russian Academy of Sciences), founded as the garden of medicinal plants by Peter the Great in February 1714. The Journal under the name Novosti sistematiki nizshikh rastenii was founded in 1964 by the botanists of the Komarov Botanical Institute, St. Petersburg (formerly Leningrad). It represents a continuation of Botanicheskie materialy Instituta Sporovykh Rastenii Glavnogo Botanicheskogo Sada RS FSR, Petrograd, vol. 1–4(7), 1922–1926; Botanicheskie materialy otdela sporovyh rastenii Botanicheskogo Instituta imeni V. Komarova Akademii Nauk SSSR, Moscow, Leningrad, vol. 5(4/6)–5(10/12), 1940–1945; vol. 6(7/12)–16, 1950–1963, preceded by Botanicheskie materialy Otdela sporvykh rastenii Botanicheskogo Instituta Akademii Nauk SSSR, Moscow, Leningrad vol. 6(1/6), 1949. The Journal publishes original papers on taxonomy, systematics and biodiversity of algae, fungi, lichens and bryophytes.
